Villa Papillon kindergarten receives safe access only for parents

Villa Papillon — a bilingual kindergarten in Berlin. The location is a 500 square meter detached villa built in 1920 with a 2,900 square meter garden. Villa Papillon will accommodate 80 small children at the beginning of 2017.

Papillon spoke to parents and police experts about safety. They learned that access to the premises in the wrong hands was the biggest security risk. Papillon wanted an access control system that would enable the operator to grant and withdraw access to the premises on a daily basis. It was also important for Papillon to find a robust solution at optimal costs. It was immediately clear that traditional physical keys were not the right solution for accessing the premises and the building. Lost keys represent a security risk and also result in enormous costs for the replacement of, in this case, around 250 keys if one is lost. And a key loss happens more than once a year.
