Discontinuation of U&Z Edition 1, ISEO, ACaaS and IDaaS

Dear customers,

We would like to inform you that with the launch of our Next Generation (NG) ecosystem, we have decided to discontinue the following products:
* Uhlmann & Zacher “Edition 1" locks with the exception of the CX213x wall reader,
* the complete ISEO product range
* NXP P60 NFC cards and transponders
* as well as SaaS products “Access as a Service” and “IDentity as a Service” associated with the legacy firmware

The decision to discontinue these products was made because both the lock technology is outdated and has also been discontinued by the manufacturer or are no longer being manufactured (NXP P60 chip cards). In addition, maintaining SaaS products (ACaaS and IDaaS) and maintaining the associated components is uneconomical and not prepared for modern requirements.

Please note that Uhlmann & Zacher “Edition 1" locks can still be ordered until 01.10.2024. Due to extremely low demand, we currently no longer have a business relationship with ISEO and can therefore no longer accept orders. However, the legacy ACaaS & IDaaS infrastructure and product maintenance will continue until 31.12.2024. Due to a sharp increase in demand in recent weeks, all remaining stocks have been sold in a very short time. Despite enormous effort, we were unable to buy any more RFID cards or fobs

Customers who have U&Z locks in use are offered an over-the-air upgrade to the new platform. Unfortunately, ISEO customers must either purchase new locks from Uhlmann & Zacher or contact us to find a solution.

We would like to urgently point out that all customers with existing integrations (SDK and API) should immediately get to grips with the new Next Gen technology in order to plan the refactoring of their apps and customer solutions and to design an individual upgrade strategy with us.

We offer the option of ordering a data transfer from the existing system, with the costs calculated in accordance with the scope of the data transfer. We therefore recommend that you contact our customer support early on in order to receive an individual offer and plan the data migration in good time.

At the same time, however, we are pleased to announce that the “Edition 2" product series from Uhlmann & Zacher is now available for our new “Next Gen” platform and can be used immediately.
